Vacancy Description

The council is set in a major tourism area with tourist attractions including Windsor Castle, Legoland and Ascot Racecourse and with the Royal Family on the doorstep, the borough played a major part in the Royal Wedding earlier this year.

This is a unique opportunity to join a local authority with commissioning and partnership working at its core, being the only local authority to have transferred all adult social care operations to its delivery partner, Optalis. The role of Commissioning Manager is high profile with responsibility for managing a number of provider relationships. The borough is committed to commissioning high quality services for its residents to enable people to have the best possible outcomes.

We want someone who has relevant commissioning experience, whether gained through local authority or health, who is committed to working in partnership with others across the Frimley Health Integrated Care System. You will be confident to manage performance and able to act independently. In return you will join a supportive team environment and the opportunity to make a difference.
