Vacancy Description

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Apprentice to join its highly-driven Information Governance team. If you are a highly-motivated individual who would like to develop a career in information management within a local authority context, then this could be the ideal position for you.

Your primary role will be providing administrative support to the Information Governance team, complying with all aspects of information request processing under Freedom of Information, Data Protection, Environmental Information Regulations and Land Charges regimes. In order to fulfil this role effectively, you will need to have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn new practices. You will need the ability to assimilate complex information and procedures quickly, work effectively as part of a team and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake formal studying in order to complete a Business Administration qualification at Grade 3.The apprenticeship is a fixed-term position for a period of thirteen months.
