Vacancy Description

We are looking for someone to join the team at the Royal Windsor Information Centre on a casual basis.

You will work both at our busy front desk within the Windsor Royal Shopping Centre and occasionally our administrative office also within the shopping centre. The role involves helping visitors and local residents with a variety of services, selling tickets for numerous events and attractions, booking accommodation and giving directions and travel advice.

You will need excellent communication, sales and customer service skills, enjoy working with the public, be computer literate and have cash handling experience. You will also need a good general knowledge and have a genuine interest in promoting the Borough and its many attractions. Language skills are desirable but not essential.

The Royal Windsor Information Centre operates 7 days a week, so weekend, Bank Holiday ad hoc and peak season working is essential. Hours are generally by prior arrangement to cover annual leave or peak periods but you may be required to provide sickness cover at short notice.
