The council is set in a major tourism area with tourist attractions including Windsor Castle, Legoland and Ascot Racecourse and with the Royal Family on the doorstep, the borough played a major part in the Royal Wedding last weekend.
We are looking for dynamic, innovative and highly skilled public health professional to fill our Service Lead – Public Health Programmes role.
You will have a strong public health background, be highly motivated and have good leadership skills. Substantial experience of developing and coordinating public health programmes, health intelligence, assessing health needs, evaluation, audit and partnership working is essential to this role.
The RBWM structure has matrix arrangements with the rest of the Berkshire unitaries, and the shared team with a Strategic Director of Public Health. Each borough has a Public Health Consultant, Public Health Officers, with an administrator to underpin the delivery of the public health agenda.
Applicants should have a track record of successful delivery of public health programmes.
