Vacancy Description

Please note this is not an RBWM role. RBWM are advertising this on behalf of Family Friends.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and highly effective Senior Fundraiser to join our dedicated team, increase our unrestricted income and private giving, and help us to take the organisation forward on a sustainable footing.

Family Friends is a small local charity, very proud of its strong local reputation, which provides short term early help support to families with children who are facing challenges and difficult times and who live in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. These services are delivered by both professionals and volunteers and we are very highly regarded in the locality by our service users and other professionals.

Your job will be to raise our profile within the borough, and to bring in funds from the residents of Windsor and Maidenhead, the local business community, and Trusts and Foundations.

The challenge we share with many small charities is to base our appeal on the difference we can make, and at the same time be valued and recognised by residents and businesses in our local community. The fundraiser role is a vital part of what we hope will be a team effort to achieve both aims.

To find out more about us, please go to our website at www.family-friends.org.uk. If you would like more information about the role, please contact the Director of Services at tracy@family-friends.org.uk

To apply please submit your CV, along with a covering letter detailing how your skills and experience match the job description and person specification. Please e-mail it to info@family-friends.org.uk by 12 noon on Monday 18 June 2018.

Interviews will take place week commencing Monday 25 June 2018, late afternoon/early evening.
