Vacancy Description

The Museum, Arts and Local Studies team has a part time staff vacancy to work across the service and within Windsor and Royal Borough Museum. This is small local history museum which tells the history of Windsor, the Guildhall, and the local area, with artefacts, displays, audio visual presentations and activities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic staff member to lead in the running of the museum overseeing a team of volunteers in stewarding the museum and working on projects which enhance our museum offer and the interpretation of local history. The hours for this post will be worked across a seven day rota and will include weekends, bank holidays and occasional evenings.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a heritage and arts environment, including project management, retail, collections and exhibitions as well as organising volunteer support for projects and activities. This post will work across the service with heritage and art projects.
