The council is set in a major tourism area with tourist attractions including Windsor Castle, Legoland and Ascot Racecourse and with the Royal Family on the doorstep, the borough will be playing a major part in the Royal Wedding later this month.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Borough as a Senior Housing Options Officer who will be a vital part of the prevention agenda and the Housing Options Team structure.
The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of a high quality, first in class customer focused housing options and homelessness service to those in need and being threatened with homelessness, focusing on firstly promoting and advising on housing options and homeless prevention across seven days a week.
You will need an excellent working knowledge of homelessness, policy, legislation and Government initiatives including forthcoming changes, together with excellent IT and communication skills.
We are looking for a highly driven, enthusiastic, organised, well rounded leader, with a flexible and creative approach, who can demonstrate the ability to forward think and be innovative.
