Vacancy Description

Optalis is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join their Independent Living service which is based in and around the Wokingham Borough. Responsibilities will include supporting the Deputy Service Manager in the daily running/management of all services and ensuring compliance for the purpose of CQC, Health and Safety and Safeguarding and supporting the development of quality measures to ensure a continued safe, effective, well-lead and caring service.

You will be responsible for helping to develop and ensure regular updating of person centred care plans, supporting customers, audits, competency checks, attending meetings, supporting with rota management and providing an on-call service.

As part of the Senior Support Worker role, you will provide a valuable modelling and coaching role to all care workers. You will be a part of a team whose focus is that of the customer’s needs, wishes and promoting independence!

Candidates are required to hold a full driving license with access to a vehicle.
