You will lead the communications team within the wider communications and marketing function, and ensure effective delivery of the communications forward plan against agreed targets. You will lead specifically on all engagement with local, national and trade media, off line and online.

For this hands on role you will also be responsible for all aspects of social media and digital communications, including creating innovative and engaging content, using evidence and capitalising on emerging trends.

You will build positive relationships with the media, councillors, and the senior leadership team and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be motivated, creative, organised and have an interest in current affairs.

If you are up for the challenge, apply or have an informal chat about the role with Louisa Dean, Communications and Marketing Manager on 01628 796410.
