Are you a people person?

If you are calm, innovative, forward thinking, creative and have empathy/experience of supporting people living with dementia, this could be just the opportunity for you.

An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Manager to support the Deputy of Non Regulated Services and staff to develop our dementia day centre.

You would be responsible for, providing emotional and physical support to our service users, assessing the needs of people to ensure desired outcomes are met through appropriate activities.

Do you have experience of:

  • Supervising and supporting a small staff team
  • Day-to-day running of a Day Centre
  • Providing meaningful activities through the Butterfly, Half Done Approach and Reminiscence
  • Working within budgetary restraints
  • Working or living with people with dementia.

Do you have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Person centred approach
  • Good IT skills, MS Office
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A qualification of working with people with dementia.
